Threaded flange is a type of flange that requires no welding to pipes. Threads are machined inside the flange bore, which connect to pipes with external threads to form a complete pipeline system.

NPT threaded flange comes with internal NPT thread as standard under ASME B16.5. For EN 1092-1, the standard internal thread is BSPT/BSPP (Rp). Custom machining of other thread types is available upon your request.

A: They can be disassembled for repeated use. However, threads must be inspected for wear before each assembly. Replace the flange if obvious thread wear is found.
Q: What are the differences between NPT threaded flanges and BSPT threaded flanges?
A: For applicable threaded flange standards: NPT threaded flange is the default thread for ASME flanges, while BSPT is adopted for EN 1092 flanges;
For thread angle, they have different thread profile and thread type.
For sealing performance,NPT achieves sealing via thread engagement with no additional gasket required. BSPT requires an extra gasket for sealing.
